About Mistik WaskihkThrough constant exposure to Cultural Activities and Events Mistik Waskihk Cultural Healing will contribute to the development of a positive self-worth and self-identity. An integral aspect of the program revolves around The Medicine Wheel and Cultural Practices. These Practices will encourage the development of love, honesty, respect, sharing and cooperation among the staff, Youth and their Families. By encouraging and facilitating the involvement of Parents, Guardians and the Youth's community they envision the healing of relationships. Youth who have had previously unsuccessful placements are often more responsive to a Cultural Healing Journey with Mistik Waskihk Cultural Healing utilizing their Traditional Medicine Wheel.
